Admission and End Dates (Updated April 2026)
Starting in April 2026, our school offers regular classes beginning on the first day after admission. In addition to weekend admission, weekday admission (Monday through Friday) is now available.
If it is difficult for you to arrive on weekends due to your schedule, you may now enroll on any day that is convenient for you.

Graduation Date for Weekday Admission
Regular classes are conducted six days per week. For example, if you arrive on Wednesday evening and begin classes on Thursday, your end date will be after the conclusion of Wednesday’s classes.

Graduation Date for Weekend Admission
If you arrive on Saturday evening or Sunday and begin classes on Monday, your end date will be Saturday at 1:00 PM.

Is it mandatory for parents to register for classes?
Most Philippine ESL schools require parental participation, but our school makes it optional.
If a parent accompanying a junior does not wish to participate in classes, they can stay and pay only the dormitory fee. Parents can monitor their junior's classes or have personal time in the cafeteria or a designated area. If desired, they can register for one or two classes per day.
If they do not choose classes, they do not need to pay for the SSP, SSP I-Card, student ID card, or textbook fees.

What’s the minimum registration period?
Our school requires a minimum registration period of one week, and you can register on a weekly basis. Airport pickup is available from Saturday evening to Sunday, and classes begin on Monday. However, our SPEAK-UP course does not have a fixed start date, so you can choose any weekday to begin based on your schedule.

Can I take classes without using the dormitory?
Yes, you can. Depending on your needs, you may choose one-on-one classes of 1, 2, or 3 hours, or join regular classes. For pricing information, please inquire at the office.

Must Check Before Arriving at School! – Pre-departure Checklist
This checklist includes the essential documents required for studying and living in the Philippines, as well as those needed by the Philippine Bureau of Immigration.
- Passport: Must be valid for at least six months from your date of arrival in the Philippines. Please keep a separate copy of your passport as a backup.
- Roundtrip Airline Ticket: A roundtrip ticket is required regardless of nationality or visa requirements. One-way tickets are not accepted.
- Letter of Acceptance (LOA): Issued within one week after registration.
- Pickup Letter: Issued 3–7 days before your arrival. This letter includes the name of the person who will pick you up at the airport and emergency contact details (e.g., social media).
- Visa: A student visa is not required for ESL school admission. Depending on your nationality, you may enter the Philippines visa-free or on a tourist visa. After arrival, you can apply for an SSP (Special Study Permit) at the Bureau of Immigration. The school office will assist you with this process.
- Travel Insurance: Please purchase travel insurance for your safety and protection.
- Local Currency: Exchange your money for pesos at the airport upon departure. About USD 50 should be sufficient for initial expenses.
- Debit/Credit Cards: Make sure your cards are enabled for overseas use.
- Laptop: Essential for classes and daily tasks. A laptop is recommended in addition to your mobile phone or iPad.
- Earphones: Useful for watching videos or studying without disturbing your roommate.
- Water Bottle and Cup: Recommended for hygiene and convenience.
- Notebooks, Pens, and Other Stationery
- Jacket: Classrooms can be cold due to strong air conditioning.
- Slippers, Umbrella, Sunglasses
- Toiletries (Shampoo, Soap, Toothpaste, Hair Dryer, etc.): These items can also be purchased at local shopping malls.
English Prescription and Doctor’s Note (if applicable):
If you will be taking medication for more than 30 days while abroad, please bring a doctor’s note written in English. If you have kidney, heart, or neurological conditions—even if the symptoms are mild—please also bring an English doctor’s note as a precaution. If necessary, you can purchase medication in the Philippines.

Important Reminders When Packing Your Luggage Before Departure
Do not pack prohibited items such as spare (lithium) batteries, e-cigarettes, lighters, flammable substances (sprays, alcohol, paint), or cash in your checked-in baggage. These items must be packed in your carry-on baggage.
Some airlines enforce this rule strictly, and violations may result in flight cancellation without a refund.

Checklist for 1-2 Week Short-Term Students
Please check the following items to ensure a fulfilling academic experience. Be sure to also review the Pre-departure Checklist.
- National Holidays: Check whether any national holidays fall within your study period and whether regular classes or make-up classes will be provided on those days.
- Admission Interview: Check whether the level test or admission interview will be conducted before arrival. Depending on your chosen course, this test may not be required.

What are some tips for studying effectively during a short 1–2-week program?
Most short-term study abroad programs take time out of your vacation or personal schedule, so it is important to make sure the program offers enough classes during that time.
To make the most of your short stay, focus on one-on-one classes instead of group classes, which may require schedule changes. If possible, try to take six or seven one-on-one classes each day.
Do not try to learn everything in a short period. Focus on speaking and expressing yourself. You can ask your counselor for advice during your admission consultation.

What is the pre-admission test?
The pre-admission test, called the Admission Interview, is administered before arrival at the school. This test is for students who have applied for courses requiring a certain level of English proficiency, such as IELTS or business courses, or for short-term students who wish to begin classes immediately on Monday morning.
The Admission Interview is conducted online within 48 hours of application. It evaluates pronunciation, expression, syntax, spoken grammar, and vocabulary. The test takes approximately 20 minutes, and results are available within 24 hours.
Note: Starting in the second half of 2026, the school plans to implement the Admission Interview for all courses. This will allow students to begin regular classes on Monday morning after arrival.
