This course is for those who want to take the IELTS but cannot participate in the IELTS course right away due to low English level. Or for IELTS starters.

The purpose of this course is to quickly instill understanding and confidence in IELTS for low level students, so that they can successfully move to the IELTS Intensive (or IELTS Native) course after 4 weeks.

The textbooks are IELTS introductory books or ESL books, so the classes are relatively easy and smooth.

Curriculum

Since the level of students is somewhat low, the IELTS Writing subject is not operated and is replaced with ESL Writing.

  • The class unit is 45 minutes, 5 minutes’ break. However, 5th and 10th classes are 40 minutes.
  • Activities may change depending on the circumstances.

Admission Qualification & Date

  • ENTRY LEVEL: UPPER-ELEMENTARY (IELTS 2.5-3.0, TOEIC 400-525, TOEFL 43-55) OR EQUIVALENT ENGLISH LEVEL.
  • Admission date: We recommend arriving at school on Sunday, but weekdays are also possible.
    ✓ Sunday (or Saturday morning): Classes start on Monday.
    ✓ Weekday enrollment is also possible. If you begin classes on Wednesday, you can attend classes until Tuesday of your graduation week.

4-Week Course for IELTS Beginners

This course is designed for IELTS beginners to achieve an IELTS level of 3.5 to 4.5 through 4 weeks of study. After 4 weeks, students will move on to IELTS Intensive or IELTS Guarantee to pursue a high IELTS score.

  • Exam & Feedback

    • Placement Test: Our online placement test is conducted before admission. Afterward, you can begin regular classes with your chosen teacher from the first day of your arrival.
    • Weekly Test: This test is conducted every Wednesday at 17:00, and evaluates vocabulary and grammar. Participation is mandatory.
    • IELTS Mock Test: Every Saturday afternoon. Those who do not take the IELTS course can participate, but in this case, there is a fee. Those who wish to participate must apply in advance at the office.
      ✓ If your score after the mock test is lower than the last result, you may receive a penalty such as mandatory Saturday self-study.

    Students in the Spartan course are required to attend classes from Monday to Friday, as well as Saturday classes.

  • Things To Note Before Registration

    - Quad-rooms are only available to families or groups of four with the same enrollment and graduation dates.

    - Accommodation options include a dormitory (on the school campus) and a hotel (10 minutes away by school shuttle). However, if you choose the Sparta course, which requires an evening program, you can use the dormitory only.

  • Local Fee (PHP)

    Local fees include fees payable to the Philippine Bureau of Immigration (e.g., visa extension and SSP fees), textbook fees, accommodation electricity charges, and other related expenses. These fees are paid directly to the school office after admission.
    Starting June 2026, visa extension fees will vary based on the student's nationality, in accordance with the guidelines of the Philippine Bureau of Immigration.

    Airport Pickup Individual:
    Clark Airport: 1,000 pesos.
    Manila Airport: 4,500 pesos.
    Family/Group:
    Clark Airport: 1,500 pesos (2 persons), 2,000 pesos (3 or more).
    Manila Airport: 5,500 pesos (2 persons), 6,500 pesos (3 or more).
    Textbook Varies depending on the selected course. 1,500 to 2,500 pesos per 4 weeks.
    Electricity (Additional) If usage exceeds 16 kWh per a week, 25 pesos per 1 kWh surcharges applies. This additional amount is shared equally with roommates.
    Laundry Entrusting to an external laundry service; 150 pesos for up to 5kg, 200 pesos for 6-8kg, and 300 pesos for 9-10kg.
    If you use the on-campus washing machine and do your own laundry, the laundry fee is free.
    Overnight Individual:
    An additional charge of 3,000 pesos per day applies for staying one extra day in the dormitory beyond the check-out time
    Family/Group:
    Charged on a family unit of 2-4 people. 3,000 pesos per day.
