These courses are representative of the Semi-Spartan program. If you need a reasonable class time and enough personal time after school, this course is for you. You can go out freely after school and easily interact with your friends, so you can "KEEP BOTH YOUR STUDIES AND MEMORIES WITH YOUR FRIENDS."
The class focuses on speaking, and the curriculum is balanced with speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary, and grammar. However, the curriculum can be changed upon the student's request.
CURRICULUM
Depending on the presence or absence of one-on-one Native Speaker's class, it is divided into Regular ESL and Native ESL.

- The class unit is 45 minutes, 5 minutes’ break. However, 5th and 10th classes are 40 minutes.
- Activities may change depending on the circumstances.
COURSE FEATURES
- A BALANCED CURRICULUM CENTERED ON SPEAKING SKILLS is provided: you can learn speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, etc., and the course assignment may vary depending on the student's request and needs.
- STRESS-FREE WITH MODERATE CLASS LOAD: 8 classes per day. After that, it's personal time.
- NATIVE SPEAKERS CORRECT YOUR PRONUNCIATION AND LEARN PRACTICAL EXPRESSIONS currently used in the US and UK.
- SEMI-SPARTAN STYLE: Somewhat loose regulations apply. You can go out freely after school and school regulations are not strictly applied.
ADMISSION QUALIFICATION & DATE
- There is no specific level requirement for admission to this course.
- However, if your English level is too low to keep up with the class, the class will be organized as one-on-one classes for a certain period of time. 2 hours in a small group is considered as 1 hour in a one-on-one class.
- Admission date: Every Sunday (please inquire in advance for Saturday Admission)
COURSE DURATION
- 1-24 weeks
- If you are planning a long-term study abroad of more than 20 weeks, it is recommended to study this course for 8-12 weeks and then move to another courses such as IELTS or Advanced Business.
EXAM & FEEDBACK
- Placement Test: This test is conducted on Monday morning on the first day after admission. It identifies the student's weaknesses and strengths by level by area. This test is also helpful for group class assignment.
- Weekly Test: This test is conducted every Wednesday at 17:00, and evaluates vocabulary and grammar. Participation is optional.
- Progress Test: Diagnostic assessment conducted every 4th week of the month after admission. Speaking, listening comprehension, reading comprehension, writing, etc. are evaluated. This test is conducted during vacant time or group class time, so as not to interfere with regular classes as much as possible.
- TOEIC Mock Test: Every Saturday afternoon. Those who do not take the TOEIC course can also participate. Those who wish to participate must apply in advance at the office.
- IELTS Mock Test: Every Saturday afternoon. Those who do not take the IELTS course can participate, but in this case, there is a fee. Those who wish to participate must apply in advance at the office.
CLASS SCHEDULE
Below is a sample weekly study schedule (NATIVE ESL) from Monday to Saturday. The schedule may vary depending on the course and student level. Attendance is mandatory for regular classes from Monday to Friday, but participation in Saturday classes is optional.
Even students in the semi-Spartan program can sign up for night classes from 19:00 for 1 hour. However, attendance and other factors will be monitored.
